About Julian: Julian is a legend in the ski world. Known for his massive cliff drops and perfect powder turns, he has also used skiing as a vehicle to see the world and develop a successful business. He has a thorough appreciation for Japan’s deep snow, incredible food and unique culture, but he mainly comes back every year to find the best snow boots at Homac.
Home Town: Salt Lake City
Favorite terrain: That perfect pow.
Favorite Sushi: ALL the sushi.
About Rafael: Rafael has spent his last three years producing a film from some of the most remote locations in snowboarding. He returns to Hokkaido with a wholistic focus on enjoying Japanese snowboard culture. For Rafa, Japan is much more than deep snow, as he finds equal enjoyment in onsens, sushi, and greater Japanese culture.

About Giray: Giray transitioned from competing to free skiing in 2007 and has been hooked on touring and skiing the big lines ever since. Currently, he splits his time between his career as a pro skier and owning and operating Daymaker Touring, a company committed to making the backcountry more accessible for all.
Where did he learn to Ski: Western New York
Favorite terrain: Pillowy powder with technical cliff sections
Favorite Sushi: It’s all so good!
About George: After winning the Freeskiing World Tour, George has transitioned his career to focus on traveling and skiing in far off places. He is a true soul shredder who enjoys sending massive cliffs just as much as a mellow pow lap with friends.
Where did he learn to Ski: A little town called Assspen.
Favorite terrain: The biggest cliffs you can find.
Favorite Sushi: All of it at once.
About Teton: Teton is a big-mountain who feels most at home in the mountains. Splitting his time between Sun Valley, ID and Jackson Hole, Wyoming, Teton likes to blur the lines between work and play. In his return to Hokkaido this season, he is in search of pillow lines and bottomless powder.
Hometown: Stevens Pass, WA / Sun Valley, ID

Favorite Sushi: Unagi
About Tim: Tim has skied all around the world but Japan has a special place in his heart. The snow there is lighter, fluffier and falls more often than anywhere else. He can’t wait to chase Hokkaido’s deep powder and playful terrain this year.
Where did he learn to Ski: Girdwood, AK
Favorite terrain: Cliffs, spines, pillows, or any combination of the three.
Favorite Sushi: Spicy tuna roll / mackerel

About Taylor: Growing up in the Cottonwood Canyons made it easy for Taylor to fall in love with skiing. Surrounded by incredible talent at Snowbird and Alta, he developed into one of the best up and coming skiers in the Wasatch. Japan has become one of his favorite ski destinations. Deep powder, and his new appreciation for sushi, will keep him coming back for life.

Favorite terrain: Pillow stacks.
Favorite Sushi: Anything but tako (octopus).
